DJ Way
For the last two decades, Matthew aka DJ Way has styled his mixes with funky beats, saturated jazzy bass lines, and soulful vocals to keep dance floors ablaze. The Chicago native and Juilliard-trained classical musician laid roots in New York City, Miami, and now Detroit. He finds inspiration traveling the world to meld what he has coined a tri-city sound.
Matthew acquired residencies at Float, Sin Sin, Dyckman Bar, and The Empire Hotel in NYC as well as Laundry Bar aka Black Sheep Bar, the Whitelaw Hotel, Sixx Lounge, and the most unpretentious home for house music in South Beach – Blue.
