Jimmie Bennett Jr, better known as “JB the One” was an upcoming artist who hailed from SouthWest Detroit born and raised (MexicanTown). His goal was to be successful and do what he had to so he could make sure he and his loved ones could live life and be as stable as possible. Like many others, he had a rough childhood and experienced a lot growing up. From losing some of his best friends to street violence, the system, drugs, and more, he found a way through music to remain strong and positive about those situations.
