Performers: Paul E Emery
Location: Ottava Via
Singer/Songwriter Paul Emery plays acoustic folk/blues and originals around Detroit and Mid-Michigan. Also, as the avatar “Casias Falta” he regularly plays on OSgrid.org in Virtual Reality at the Maritime Club in Belfast Sunday at 5 pm.

Performers: Rich Willis & the Chillin Circuit
Location: Gaelic League
Breakout keyboard artist Rich Willis has shared his musical talent locally and nationally, performing with various bands, singers, and theatrical productions over the last thirty-plus years. He is a prolific composer and gifted keyboardist, influenced by such greats as Joe Sample, Herbie Hancock, and Lyle Mays. His various compositions defy genre, but call to mind jazz, new age, classical, and gospel, to name a few. Currently, Richard is working on a number of musical ventures, including the production of a new CD, collaboration with other artists, writing soundtracks for movies, TV, and commercials as well as showcases of his original material.

Performers: Doug Bowen

Doug Bowen is a Michigan musician that has been playing guitar, singing and composing for 32 years. Mostly classic rock, he is also influenced by many other genres including pop, country, jazz, funk and more. He has recorded 11 albums of original music as well as performed on other artists albums. He has also performed in bands and solo acoustic around the Detroit area as well as been featured on Detroit radio, Television and on a national commercial promotion.

Sultanes del ritmo is a latin band that has been playing for more than 30 years.

Ladyship Warship goes for the roots of rock music with the raw excellence of understated drum and brash guitar. Don’t confuse their sound with a White Stripes hack. This is intimate and powerful rock music that eschews the cliques with a straight shot to your rock and roll soul.

Packin’ Heat is a professional 9-piece horn driven band covering the best dance music from Motown to the latest top charts. Michigan based, Packin Heat delivers fun and excitement at any event.

Poor Player is a six piece Motor City Americana band that takes to the stage with barrel house rambles, neo Dustbowl yodels, Tecumseh strums, and a hopped up grab bag of American riddles and laments.

Sacramento Knoxx brings his brand new band to Corktown Sounds!

The Zotz formed in Spring 2015 originally as a 2-piece guitar, vocals and drums. After a few months of playing , Bobby and Shawn decided to complete the sound by adding a bass player. With a few line up changes, Paul Garza the latest bassist to join the band.
Coming together to create a unique sound reimiscent of the 70’s old school punk with hooks and relatable originals songs based on life experiences. They are fast, hard and fun. Simple and fast drum hits, dynamic leads with sarcastic and heartfelt vocals and rockin bass lines that cut through. The Zotz are a refreshing unique, but surprisingly familiar sound that will make you want to bop your head, tap your foot, shake your fist in the air, and smile, laugh, sing along and dance. Our live shows are always fun and we want to include our audience to join in and have as much fun as us.

Amanda McCauley, known by her stage name LeLe XO (pronounced leh-leh) is a singer-songwriter Detroit
Kyle is an American-born Musician/Songwriter. Raised in the suburbs of Detroit, MI by his parents, 3rd generation Polish American’s. At the young age of 6, Kyle received a Red Stratocaster mini for Christmas, his interest in music developed greatly after that. By age 10, music was his main focus devoting most of his time to the guitar.

BFMI was established in 2005 by Jaime and Maria Luisa Carrillo who continue to donate their time and effort leading the group; one hundred percent of the money collected from performances and fundraisers is invested back into the group. As part of the BFMI mission to bring art and culture to the community, all new participants are welcomed regardless of experience. The group is free of charge to the community and stands as a nonprofit organization.
